Learn. Practice. Review. Improve. Present. Portfolio.

Every course follows the same six-step cycle. This page explains exactly what happens at each step - so you know what a typical week looks like before you apply.

Six steps, every single week.

The loop repeats every week — not once per phase. Each step has a defined output, not just an attendance mark.

01

Learn

A concept is taught live, tied to a specific tool such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, or Search Console.

02

Practice

You apply it immediately inside that tool, using a training account — not a slide deck.

03

Review

Atif or a reviewing practitioner checks your submission against the same checklist used for client work.

04

Improve

You revise the work based on written feedback before moving to the next module.

05

Present

You explain your finished work as you would to a client — not just submit a file.

06

Portfolio

The approved version is added to your portfolio, documented and dated for future use.

What happens when you submit a project.

Every submission moves through the same five checks before it earns a place in your portfolio.

Digital marketing mentor reviewing student project portfolio
  • 1
Strategy clarityIs the goal of the work clearly stated, with measurable outcomes the campaign is meant to drive?
  • 2
Execution accuracyAre the technical settings, structures, and tracking implemented the way a client would expect?
  • 3
Data interpretationCan you read what the numbers say — and what they do not say — without overreaching?
  • 4
Presentation qualityIs the work readable, well-organized, and explainable to someone outside the room?
  • 5
Use of prior feedbackDid you actually apply the corrections from your last review, or repeat the same misses?

How a typical week runs.

Every week begins with a live session introducing new core concepts. You immediately complete a practice assignment using the relevant industry tool, which is then evaluated against our strict technical checklist. You revise your work based on direct feedback, ensuring you master the skill before your portfolio is updated with the approved, polished version.

Tool exposure depends on your course and current phase — but every tool below shows up somewhere in the program.

How live agency exposure actually gets decided.

A small number of students may be offered supervised exposure to specific Golden Markers agency projects. This is not part of every student's experience. Selection runs on the criteria below.

Digital marketing mentor assigning live agency project to student
  • 1
Project qualityConsistent approval through the review checklist across previous submissions, not isolated wins.
  • 2
AttendanceRegular presence in live sessions — selective work assumes you've been in the room.
  • 3
Professional conductHow you communicate, take feedback, and handle deadlines — the same things a client would notice.
  • 4
Current availabilityWhether the agency has a suitable live project at that time — sometimes it simply does not, and that's honest.

Common questions about the format.

Anything not covered here is fair game on your counselling call.

How many projects will I complete?

The Full Stack course includes 4 portfolio projects. Other courses include fewer, scoped to that specific skill.

Who reviews my work?

Atif Habib or a practitioner currently working on live marketing accounts at Golden Markers.

What happens if my project is rejected?

You revise it based on written feedback and resubmit until it meets the checklist standard.

Is the program online, offline, or both?

Both. Live at the Delhi NCR campus and live online — same session, same review.
